The only bearable version of Rachel is the TAR24 version of Rachel.

BB12: She's an irritating tryhard who's one track minded approach to the game allows an obnoxious alliance to dominate the endgame.
BB13: She's a irritating whiner who becomes a blatant producers pet who benefits from all of Grodner's rigging.
TAR20: She's all bark and no bite, throwing tantrums and threatening to quit whenever things don't go her way.

Plus I hate the fact that because of her 'floating' is now frowned upon when it is the best way to play the game and in the right hands (Will and Jun) fantastic to watch in action.

I get where you're coming from but I disagree on a few points. BB12 literally had nothing. It was the most insipid cast at the time (14 and 16 have come to rival it ever since) and there was no real plot whatsoever so I think the show benefited from having Rachel. Like, it was still a terrible season but the episodes were at least watchable with Rachel there. I don't really care about her one track minded approach to the game because who cares about gameplay. There was no gameplay that year so whatever Rachel was bringing I was okay with it. Take Rachel (and Kathy <3) out and the already bad season gets infinitely worse. I also don't think it's fair to blame Rachel for the Brigade dominating when a certain ****ty blonde HG was dragged to the final four and was like "lol so were there any alliances this year????"

I'll give you BB13 though. Rachel was entertaining again at first but once Brendon was gone she turned into "competent" strategist with the help of Grodner and, like, that's not the point of Rachel at all. Aside from manipulating and riggage aside she became boring. The argument I made with BB12 was that because Rachel (and to a lesser extent Brendon) were making themselves such big targets that it allowed for the Brigade to sail by undetected, and by the time the house managed to get rid of Rachel the Brigade held all of the numbers and couldn't be stopped.
Plus Rachel played the game so emotionally that she didn't think about her ramifications of her decisions. There is a massive selection of alpha males in the house and yet you choose to target Monet and Kristen!?

Couple comments for 9, 11 & 12.

9 is probably underrated despite it being one of my least favorite seasons. I just dislike the little to no gameplay in that season as well as The Real World feel it had to it. Second dislike still brought entertainment to the show for sure so I can't complain much... it was still pretty enjoyable for what it was but for a BB season ranks last or close to last for me. Matty & Natalie were great, Sheila was great, Adam had his moments too, and I personally liked Jen & Ryan and that whole storyline it had on the show. Parker & Amanda should've both lasted longer tho

11 is drastically overrated. Most of the cast sucked, the twist was boring, etc. Jessie, Natalie, Kevin were some of the few good ones on the cast that year. I agree that Laura & Casey had potential if not for early exits.

12 is underrated. It was an ok season at worst. Although as someone who's kinda indifferent towards Rachel, she did pretty much save it from being a boring one. The Brigade & the Rachel drama made it fun to watch. Being the first time an alliance was THAT successful was pretty great to see, especially liking the Brigade members and also it being the first season I had seen live on TV. Overall seasons 11, 8, probably 15, 14, and 9 (other than any entertainment value that came from the nastiness/craziness of the cast) all had worse casts and were arguably all worse seasons.

Seasons 6, 7, 10, 13 & 16 had really good casts IMO.

IMO those guys' funniness and personalities, really everything that they brought to the season from an entertainment standpoint, are definitely part of what's underrated about season 12.
