There was only one suggestion in the top ten this year, so congratulations go to Mitchell for getting Carly Rae Jepsen all the way to the endgame (even if she flopped). Every other song charted or found its way into critics' lists.

There is no real frontrunner for the Song of 2020 yet so I can't make a glib remark about what will win. Isn't that exciting? Unless you count Lady Gaga's Stupid Love, and even then MMI and Nancy will return and put that idea to bed

The wordpad file for 2020's edition is already open and there are, so far, four songs in the running. I personally cannot wait to write down all of the weird and wonderful songs by "D-Block Europe" and "DigDat" and "Jay1" that will chart at #14 and receive absolutely no votes in January 2021
