From the beginning I've thought she left via the river, on her new lover's boat. She left things as they were (the harness, the phone) so people would look at them instead of more relevant stuff.

i don't think they are going to find her. The chief detective was asked if they would find her alive, and she said she hoped so, but she had just finished saying that the most likely scenario was that she went in the river
