My Grandad's from Cork.

My dad lives in Kerry and all he does now is complain about the cut backs and how it's in crisis so I doubt it's right now.

The Accents are far from bad, Many people love the accents,

I find it funny how I was on Xbox live making fun of American Accents and then one of them said "I love your countries accent"

Just goes to show, your like the only one that thinks our accent is annoying.

No offence to the FMs from England on here, but if anything..
Your accents far more annoying than ours.. really pisses me off.

And the Rain isnt bad, its accually relaxing, and we do get Sunny Days!

in fairness to Patrick, he would have been, what, 9 four years ago so can't really judge the quality of life in Ireland.

I would assume that's gone down now on the Job Security thing, considering almost 15% of the working force are unemployed atm.

Don't think Ireland is too much different to England these days. At one time I might have wanted to follow my roots, but the country is not really going good either.
