Yes. And my mum swears back to me. We have good fun with it. Just the way we talk. I was raised around a lot of working class pub type atmospheres with good, friendly, honest folk and I am not one bit ashamed of it.

If you think swearing is a direct reflection on character, or that you are better than those that swear, or that swearing determines maturity, you are the one with the serious flaws, not us fuckheads.

Not as a general rule. Only when angry - not as part of everyday conversation which appears to be the case with a lot of youngsters today. Don't see the need for it.

I really don't see the big fuss around swearing. It's a few letters strung together to form a word which some stupid twat decided to deem 'offensive'.

I've sworn in front of my parents for about a year now, and they've become used to it, even though they may not like it. I grew up with them swearing when they were annoyed so I do exactly the same.

I also hate the fact that young people are looked upon that they shouldn't swear, when these people that say this are the ones that go around 24/7 swearing themselves. Since when did swearing have an age restriction? **** the lot of them I say.

indeed, there's a difference between saying "oh for ****'s sake" and "LeatherTrumpet's a ****ing ****".

Ahh, but if it was only words then it doesn't matter on the context

"Its only words but only if not in an offensive situation" would be a more appropriate song title

It's thanks to the moral highground brigade that we have to suffer such rock classics as 'This Is The New Hit' and 'She Ucking Hates Me' on Kerrang.

Mind you, Kerrang is sufferance in itself these days. Pink? Avril Lavigne? Paramore? Rawk on!

So from what I gather from this diamond of a point, is that all swearing is in the context of calling Shaun's mother a cunt?

Nice.

That is an excellent counterpoint. Man. This is going to go far.

What kind of whiskey's warming your throat tonight, then?

Grants tonight as this week that was what the best deal was at the coop. (£15.00 for a litre).
