She is stupid! Stupid and ignorant! She wouldn't be saying that if one of those soldiers was a family member of hers. It is insulting the memory of those that have died! Those still out there should be removed now - they have done their bit and because none of you are worth fighting for with attitudes like that!

Obviously not because there would be emotional investment of another kind. What about the soldiers themselves? A young man, aged 22, joins the army, get's sent to war and get's the **** blown out of him. Its not their families that make the decision, and I'm sure many of the families tried to talk them out of it.

Soldiers know the risks, there isn't an element of bravery imo. Whilst I appreciate what they do (we all do no matter what our opinion), I think its over blown a hell of a lot and people need to take a step back rather than seeing them as heroes.

I think comments like that could be seen as offensive and if this is about 'soliders in general' imagine if she said that to anyone who fought in WW2 or any war that people feel strongly about. It's not an opinion it's ignorance.
