You keep whining about dead babies and asking dumb questions.

I'll ask you something worthwhile. Do you have a specific value in that number that shows how many people were in a position to be raising a child? How many were unable to raise a child for reasons of financial instability, health, or a variety of other issues that would be unfair on both the parents, and the child especially?

This issue is more complex than a large number and your resulting outrage.

I speak English and I understood it just fine.

He would like a breakdown of the people who had abortions to see the percentage of them who would be unable to take care of the resulting child.

I would imagine a very small percentage would be deemed by social work to be unfit parents, maybe 1%?

More like the argument fell flat on it's arse because there's absolutely no getting through to you about anything your religion opposes. Nothing is as ever as black and white as you like to make out.

My children didn't ruin my life. I wanted/planned them. The children being aborted are unwanted.

You know, I hate to play the 'female' card here, but I'm going to.

As a woman, I've gone through two successful planned/wanted pregnancies. None of them were straight-forward.

I have a friend who almost died giving birth, and she had to have blood transfusions afterwards.

I have another friend who was left with a range of physical problems after having her first child.

You can't deny that pregnancy/childbirth takes it's toll on a woman's body, and leaves it's mark afterwards. There are still health risks (even in 2010) with pregnancy/childbirth.

So, with all that in mind, would you still like to see women go through all that for a child they don't want and didn't plan?

I understand you are a Christian, and that might be why you have such strong views on the issue. But with all due respect, you must understand that not everyone feels the same. And although I agree with you that the figures are outrageous given that all women are aware of how to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies, I don't see you coming up with a feasible solution.

I dont think many children are planned, I mean plan for what?

Most married couples have not planned a child, they busk it and learn on the job.

I would question the validity of the planned stuff. How many women who have children bitterly regret having them?

not many.

You cant plan for a child, but you can accept responsibility for it and do the best you can.
