I'd like to see an original week, where whether they write the song themselves or have someone write one for them.
Arranged the way they want it to be, i.e. Ballad, fast or rock even c&w but something original and not these same songs wheeled out year in year out on X Factor.

Give them the full chance to show originality.

Yeah, this would be great but they're probably too lazy. I feel like certain acts would really benefit from this too. I think Aiden and Cher would do very well. I say lazy, but it'd actually probably be impossible to write a song and practice it well in one week.
