So, with seven acts left and two shows left before the Final, four acts need to leave in order to reach the usual three acts for the Final. That means two Double Eliminations the next two weeks are VITAL, if not then we're having more than three acts in the Final.
You see though, if there is two Double Eliminations - I really cannot see them risking losing two acts to a public vote, so I think it's likely that there'll be a sing-off. On the other hand, once we get down to this small number of contestants, the reason they drop the Bottom Two is so that the Final/Semi-Final doesn't become predictable.
With seven acts left, a Double next week would mean four acts would be automatically saved - and you would assume those would be the top four, so it makes it too predictable. And then if there was a Double the following week when there's five acts left, two acts would be automatically saved - and you would again assume those would be the final two on the Final night - rendering the results even more predictable.
So I can't call what's going to happen anymore?
