BB8 had alot going against it, following the 3 best series ever and the controversial race-row which left people with a very bitter taste in their mouth. But if you look at it now or watch it now as a standalone series, it's fantastic. Just had very bad timing.

There were alot of great housemates. The only true filler were the Halfway Housemates, but even with them I liked Amy. And Jonty and Shanessa were entertaining in a car-crash, cringing kind of way. Oh and Liam was boring filler as well but he was a decent guy.

Charley, Chanelle, Shabnam, Ziggy, Brian, Sam & Amanda, Lesley, Emily, Gerry, Jonathan, and Nicky were great. Couldn't stand Billi but he was fairly entertaining as well.

There were more entertaining ones than bores, the only bores that come to mind are Liam,Gerry,Kara-Louise,Jonty.

Loved BB8. Without doubt my favourite series.
Dont understand the hostility on this site generally for it but everyones different.
Best of all was Brian Belo who was hilarious.
Again i know lots of hostility for him on here and accusations of being fake etc

I just think I didn't like it because it came after CBB5, so it just seemed quite controlled and not as entertaining after BB7.

the girls launch twist was so ridiculous and unnecessary, and interrupted the series

There were a lot of boring housemates: Samanda (really, beyond their stupidity, there was nothing to them), Nicky (grumpy, tiresome bitch), Kara-Louise (who), Liam (who), Jonathan (who), Laura (basically Wolfy Mk. I - promised a lot, delivered nothing), Shanessa and David (just creepy, weird people who arrived too late to make an impact), Amy (token bimbo), Tracey (just sat around smoking finding everyone else's vibes weird to her LCD-fried head) and Seany (ooh he pushed a girl in the pool and wore everything from New Look at once, how exciting).

Am I being in the minority that I enjoyed Carole? Especially towards the end, only her Kara and Tracey kept me going.

Carole was great in the first week but after that she brought so much negativity to the series.

I think people have BB8 so low because the house design was so small and it felt very repetetive seeing the same room over and over again for most of each episode. It's still one of my favourite house designs but I wish they had added more rooms.

I think it's rated low because it just seemed a massive mess really, drip feeding in male hm's, giving 100k out randomly, the secret room which rules kept changing, Emily's ejection etc

Carole was in control and her and Gerry,, Ziggy, Liam etc were the main group tha lasted till the end whilst the far superior Charley/Nicky/Shabnam group were all gone by week 8. Oh and Charley and Chanelle leaving in the space of a few days completely ruined it and it really was dull for the last month.

Having said that, Ii did enjoy it and Charley is a top 20 hm of mine and the first half is actually really good, entertainment/drama wise, even if the production was a mess.
