Mmm a part of me thinks Jordan's topless modelling and her coming out with a perfume etc.. are two different things?

I don't think children under the age of 16 should really look up to Jordan. Children under 16 should not think.. "when I am older I want to be a wag and take my clothes off". They should have other ambitions. Once they get to like the age of 18.. then well you are an adult and can do what you want. If they then want to take their clothes off for a living then they can do so if they wish. Just that at a young age they shouldn't be contemplating about all this. Like I said they should be left as children for as long as possible. Blockage of porn sites and that for children living in a household who are under the age of 16 should happen!!

A part of me thinks.. Oh it's just a bunny logo.. why should it matter? But suppose the meaning behind it does matter. Imagine being at school with your playboy pencil case. One of your teachers is probably perving over you even more. Ridiculous when I was at school. The "popular" girls with too much makeup and sh!t and trying to bum a teacher who was apparently good looking. I reckon the so called "good looking" teacher wouldn't say no to an offer of a 15 year old girl showing a bit of cleavage!

Anyway.. these products should not even be sold in the children's department. Some merchandising companies may think "oh we are just pinching the logo" but others will think deeper.

I watched a show last night about kids having it all too young. Was on repeat. Oh with the padded bras thing for year 5's to 6's... an argument for it was.. padded bras actually give you more protection to cover up. To protect your breasts more. I can see where that is coming from. I suppose if you put a strappy top and all that underneath people won't notice as much you have bigger breasts. If you put more lairs on then you will just look to have a bigger body rather than bigger breasts.

Anyway children should be children for as long as possible.

It was in UK Tesco's
and other stores
it went in National papers
and on UK News.

All Stock was deleted.

Deleted Stock is then sold off very cheap.

Many Irish Dealers buy cheap Deleted Stock
and the sell for more in Ireland.

And no, don't really see the problem. Playboy (the magazine) isn't even popular in this country is it.. have never seen it in the shop. It's unlikely the kids are gonna know what it is. And i've never seen playboy clothes getting sold anywhere anyway...

Of course the kids themselves won't be aware of the connotations attached to the brand logo, but the stupid parents and other adults sure are - that's the point. Why would you want to dress your child in anything that had any connection to a lad's mag?

Yeah, it's a bit strange, I'd be mortified if my 10 year old daughter was walking around wearing playboy stuff

I agree, no way would I have let my kids wear that kind of stuff, or g-strings, they have them for small girls, its wrong.
Now to be blunt, I only see the chavvy families let their kids wear them sort of clothes.

Ignorance is bliss I guess, but when you do know what playboy is you can't help but think that the little girl in possession of said pencilcase etc doesn't have high ambitions.

They will have high ambitions. I am just saying children nowadays whether they have a playboy pencil case or not.. most of their ambitions is to become famous, be a topless model or a wannabe wag. If you choose to do that at 18 then fair enough. We are in a recession and people should be more open minded when it comes to career choices.

To be fair most with playboy pencil cases probably don't know the meaning. Depending on their age.

Playboy is no more perverse or inappropriate than showing kids ancient greek and roman statues of nude models. Playboy never shows any kind of sex, they never show any kind of insertion or masterbation. They simple show nude models.

Playboy get's lumped in with other porn mags such as hustler or penthouse, but they arn't anything like those other porn mags.

You all sound like the same prudes that made complaints to the FCC about Janet Jackson's Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction".

Why is the human body offensive??? It's NOT. imho.

It's not offensive when you are an adult and have the right to show your vagina off in porn mags. However children are not allowed to do that and should not be thinking of stuff like that as a child.

Playboy doesn't show the vagina though in the way yur implying. they don't do close ups of the vagina. They don't do "spread-eagle" shots. You obviously have never read playboy.

You are lumping playboy in with most of the other "porn mags" and they really shouldn't be put in the same catagory.

Playboy is a lifestyle magazine more than a porn magazine. imho.

A lifestyle magazine of young women "selling themselves". Children should not be into this at a young age.
