Sorry, I just don't see why I have to respect these people if they don't respect anyone else but certain people.

And yes I do respect some people.

They do have difficult job and I respect the ones that respect us.

All of the cars in our street got spray painted last year and I was out in my pyjamas shouting at the guy that did it because he was trying to deny it even though I saw him doing it on my cctv, the police told me to "shut up and stop making a racket"

Another incident I remember just now, was when my friend got arrested on Halloween.

To be fair, he head butted a police man so I guess he deserved it.

But the police man started it, we were drinking and they came over and were going to take it off us and told us to 'clear off' and all that.

But we didn't want to move, due to the fact there was a few people hanging about in the other corners who didn't really like us, but I mean some of us handed the drink over, no harm done.

Although the police man couldn't accept that and he started on us and called one of my mates a 'Fenian'.
Proving just how sectarian they are, and then that's when my friend jumped over and head butted him. rofl.

But I mean the police man who called him it, didn't even get anything said to him by the force or anything like that for provoking what had happened.

Yup, this sounds about right.

Its what I have come to expect of police now. Occasionally, you get a nice understanding one, but its not often

Bollocks.

Yeah some of them do a good job, clap clap.
But some of them provoke the crime or do sh*t all to stop it or show a complete lack of respect for people who DO try and stop it, Just like Josy's situation.

After my experience just last week do I respect the police......Bloody NO.

Had my very old car stolen. No market value..unusual theft would take to long to explain......Police were treating me more like the villain.......I was a double victim last week one by the thieves who I saw taking it and second by the police who are as thick as a pile of muck........

There's always going to be a few bad apples in there but the majority of the time the police do a good job imo.

Sure complain about them now, but we'd have total anarchy without them, and if you think our police are brutal thugs try going to any other country in Europe; places like Russia, Portugal, Italy etc. they're a lot more likely to do you over then the British bobbies are

Yes.

Funnily enough I just had to answer the door to one, who was following up someone my mother witnessed committing a crime about a year ago. He was quite polite, didn't want to intrude and generally a nice guy. In my experience I've only ever come across decent policemen.

There is ONE issue I have and that is their urgency to brush a number of "small" crimes under the carpet so as to avoid (what they wrongly perceive as) wasting time. I was punched about 6 years ago and even though the police knew who did it, nothing actually arose...sure, I wasn't that hurt, but it's a bit stupid.
