rofl at Internet being in Jail.

Imagine going on Facebook:

'Bruce Johnson is chilling in his cell, Norman has just popped down to the showers with the lads to either get a shag or beat someone up, never can tell. Have to go lads, that ginger guard is eyeing me up again!'

Did anyone see a prog on either Discovery/Crime&Punishment about certain American jails set-up for solitary confinement? Guys who had been in for over 8 years in solitary - they had a good behaviour system which essentially meant after 3 years you would be allowed a TV. Otherwise it was 23 hours in the cell, eating alone, 15 or so minutes exercise in a courtyard alone.

The show showed an 1800s prison too where most of the inmates in solitary had gone completely insane. No wonder, but the American jails are still doing it.

In those cases they've normally had a phone smuggled in and are using facebook on that I think

The one I saw in the news had access to a PC in a prison library. There was a major fuss about it as he'd taunted the woman he'd attacked saying he'd see her dead and stuff

You can smuggle phones in? Jesus Christ.

I always had an idea Jail was so strict and stuff.
I'd probably arrange a break out or get someone to bomb the prison or something in that case.

I would get on with it if I was in jail now. However.. if I was back to my 11 year old self and put in jail? God knows!!

I just think for that boy now 13.. it must be so scary for him :S But if he is not even showing any signs of remorse then.....

Oh just looked on Wikipedia. Yep Charles Bronson has a life sentence. It was only meant to be for 7 years until he kept fighting with prison officers and that?
