(edit: only kidding, I hate making that error, I blame the media for never mentioning "England" any more, it's always "Britian" now xD) Last edited by Scarlett.; 30-04-2011 at 01:10 PM. |

Oh... really. Here's just one of a great many that are linked to Scotland. Of the names of the 454 communities and neighbourhoods in Greater Nashville that have been identified to date, 83 (18.3%) are based, in whole or in part, on place names that can be found in Scotland, on Scottish family names, or on Scottish words. Of course, many of the names are used in other parts of the British Isles as well but at least 27 (6.0%) of these appear to be exclusive to Scotland. Seek and ye shall find. |

There is a New Scotland in New York, there are Scotlands in South Dakota, Virginia, North Carolina, Missouri, Connecticut and Pennsylvania there is also a Scotia in New York to name but a few. There are at least 10 Cardiffs..... want me to go on? Just because you are unaware of their existance because they dont have the prominence of other place names does mean they dont exist.
