Well, It's been a longtime since I saw it, I was pretty young too when I did so I think I probably found it more scary then If I'd been older!

Haha... I've never quite understood how people can fall asleep in the cinema, it so bloody loud! However I managed to sleep through most if Lord of the Rings!

Me too. Everyone was like "omgz this film is the funniest movie evarrrrr" and then I watched and I was like it really wasn't that funny. >__>

The Hangover 2 was a lot better than #1 imo.

the amount of praise that movie gets compared to true classics is insulting to the history of cinema

no1 on IMDB = **** OFF

its no1 on IMDB because the site is overloaded with younger generation of MTV style moviegoers who have not even heard of films before 1990 let alone watched them

Most of the people who enjoy the Shawshank Redemption are older rather than MTV moviegoers, so I doubt it is number 1 because of them
