Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with Emily being kicked out at all, she didn't say it in a nasty way. I think a warning to not use the word would have been sufficient. Also, with the lack of live feed things like ****ting in freezers can be hidden from us lol

Im not saying his comment was racist but Emilys wasnt meant as racist either.

It is a racist comment, if it's from a film or not... I do think BB were a bit OTT to call him up about it, but I'm sure some people would complain if they didn't...

Aaron's reaction was more to do with the wheelchair part of the comment, rather than the racist bit, as his wife was in a wheelchair for a year, so I can understand him being upset/offended by it...

He didnt get any official warning either they pretty much just said be careful with words because there are some absolute nutters out there that will feign offence just because they are a fan of another housemate and some mental cases will put that ahead of any thought for your reputation.

Yeah that's the thing, personally I think that if it was offensive to anyone it would be more likely be for it's racial element because it's stereotyping black people, I never really thought about how it could have offended wheelchair users

I thought it was OTT and kinda felt BB were trying to prove something with all this talk on the net about poo-gate. It felt like they were putting a message out there saying yes we do pull Jay up if he's out of line.

I think C5 are probably just covering their backs as to not have an incident like C4, they are already struggling with viewers, the last thing they need is more negative press.

Not really, if anything it would have brought viewers in, Jade's eviction was one of the most watched episodes in BB history. (Albeit for all the wrong reasons)

this is just my opinion
in no way was jay's comment racist. he was trying to get Maisy to kiss Anton YUK. it was just a joke, as for the wheel chair part of it, come on please get a grip keep it in the context of the joke. Aaron did over react but remember he sated that he had not watched the movie so i understand how he could have tken it the wrong way. but i felt sooo sorry for jay.
He was asking Aaron if he would have found that comment offensive and Arron did that would have crushed me.

jay said a quote from the film white chicks.and as he said in the diary it means that black men are hung like donkeys that you could end up in a wheelchair.,and it was said by a black actor.and i would think most black people would not be offended.but because of the jade goody episode they have to seem as if they are doing something but they must learn the difference and listen to the whole conversation when something is said.now to most viewers they are gonna think jay is racist when he is not. and aaron has blown it all out he knows its from a film he is trying to look like a good guy.i am raging and its down to bb editing lets not forget.i could go on and on anyway jay to win from a strong black woman
