Others do though.

Others find her a funny, charming, infectious ray of sunshine in a pretty dark house this year. To others she is amazing for rising above the petty squabbles and vileness we have seen from others (that apparently count's as 'doing something' to most) and maintaining a positive fun attitude to what is meant, on some level, to be a fun show.

Let me ask you though, what is, to you, 'doing something' in the house?

Is it having a showmance? Is it arguing? Is it being misarable or making others miserable?Is it being given a 'narrative' by the BB edit suite? Is it being a general ****?

While I get the viles are fun to watch, what kind of person do you want to actually win this show?

This is a great post, concise and well put.

I like Alex for the reasons I have bolded above. She is very sweet and sincere, quite a loveable character. She is also actually quite pretty, I saw a pic of her on here in the first week without all the makeup and she looked lovely. Would much rather see her win than any of Jay, Anton, Louise, Aden and Jem.

Alex, Faye, Aaron or Harry to win! Wouldn't mind Tom in the final, he is ok.

The answer is that no, it's not an attack on Alex fans, it's merely an attempt to get into the mindset of a group of people that many have difficulty understanding and to see if there is any redeeming qualities about them.

And she knows how to laugh and have a good craic with all of the housemates. Neither does she get blind drunk and make a fool of herself, or go around groping men's crotches when she's bladdered, and hang all over them like a rash.

Lots of reasons to like Alex - certainly in comparison to Faye for example.

She's the best female in the house - been saying it for weeks and weeks. I'd have clones of Alex rather than the other deadbeat types we've had since the show started.

I like Alex too,would be happy for her to win,she doesn't seem to come with the "Touch me not,I'm temptation" lable the others girls do,she is down to earth and sees the good in people from what I have seen she seems a really nice girl and far surpasses the fame wannabees in there.

Yes, she would be a good housemate to live with as she is considerate, but she is not very interesting to watch.

Maybe we will see more of her as the more extreme personalities are evicted, but for now i struggle to see why she would win as she is very forgetable.

She is funny to watch, they don't show enough of her, but at the same time that is a good thing or people would only moan that Alex is being more airtime than everyone else.

I don't think she is forgettable, I think she has had some of the funniest moments in there, the Willy Wonka one being an example She doesn't have to be upfront and in your face to still get noticed, she doesn't have to bed hop to find a storyline, she is clever enough to do her own thing to get to those finals and it works without having to step on other housemates, that is why I find her likeable

Some people need to understand that entertainment is subjactive. You can't say you want Aaron to win because he entertains you then be surprised other people want Alex to win for the same reasons. People have different reasons for liking certain housemates and it has always been clear to me that Alex fans find her funny, unpretentious and down to earth.
