Im a massive Aaron fan, but Alex is my 3rd favourite behind Harry

tbf, she has been quite irritating recently with her fake wailing, but I certainly have not "turned" on her. She's still up there in my top 3

Al recent members and all have a pick with Alex

There are some pretty daft posts and its not all new members some are just immature attempts to defend their latest crush its silly but quite amusing.

Alex is the favourite and has been for the past weeks. It's not a surprise she would become a target. People can start threads about everything and critisize her as much as they like but trying to convince others that she shouldn't win because of pink car or her chiwawa is desperately ridiculous and amusing at the same time.

Aaron, Rebeckah and Jay have had their hate threads which some were just as pathetic.

It isn't 'because she is a girl... it is because she is a threat to aaron and there are a lot of irrational fanatics around here..... But don't blame the Jay fans, I haven't seen them doing so en mass... only the aaron fans

If someone wants anyone other than Aaron to win, they get attacked

Its a shame because I liked Aaron untill about week 4 when he went sulky for a while and about 80% of the forum went into a huge frenzy of defending any little thing he did which put me right off him :/

That's the shame of it tbh,if there were more tolerant fans then maybe there would be less need for moderation,the board could become more diverse and welcome other people's views even if they differentiate from the group mentality.

If I made a thread right now saying 'Aaron Wont Win', id have about 20 pages of people screaming and about 30 infractions..

yesterday I said I thought Aaron was boring and someone started going on saying im an Alex fan blah blah and was probably a Rachel Rice fan and love watching dull people because im dull or something like that :s thats the sort of thing I mean. I know its not everyone but it is about 80% of his fans which is a shame

Don't mistake a loud minority as the majority.

And I thought you meant simply being attacked for saying you support someone other than Aaron. That's not quite the same situation.

Isn't that all part and parcel of being a fan though? You defend your fave and have a dig at their competitors, just as you have with Aaron in your OP.

Not everyone is going to .ike Alwx as much as you do, and as the competiotion reaches it's conclusion there's probably going to be even more of this, so you're just going to have to get used to it I'm afraid. How about, rather than creating threads complaining about some posters having a go at your favourite, you just defend her on the threads where they do that instead?
