I voted for Brian and would have voted for Kate too but we couldn't vote in Ireland for BB3 iirc

I'd say they all were, considering who they were up against the finals.
(and Josie definitely was regardless! She's the same sort of a have-a-go working class hero bird as Denise - even if Pepper and Corin made the finals instead of Andrew and JJ she'd still be the obvious popular choice with the older crowd). Obviously it's not just about character-types as the housemates need a story too, but in choices like Samanda vs Belo , I'd say the eventual winner was more likely to get an widespread support.

Some winners have been more popular with tweens that others (Sophie, especially) but it's not been because they've dominated the way any of the evictions have gone.

i think the older person is telling BB this is what its all about - enough of watching kids frank - kirk - deadwood -and people like that as they can not hold down a simple chat ? maybe a older person winning maybe saying respect for that person to do it and we are fed up of watching silly idiots make fools of them serfs < just saying lol

I don't have a clue who has most influence in the voting anymore, I thought after BB12 and for most of this CBB that the forums now had the most influence but then the final order kinda undermined that theory a bit

My theory on that is more general public/non forum people tend to watch CBB then normal BB

Yeah that's probably right, CBB will get a lot more causal viewers voting, I think maybe forum members vote more for normal BB as well

I'm not sure if age has anything to do with it but there has been a change. I don't know if the reason for that is even the voting style change. It might be more to the fact that people have been so disappointed with some of the winners that they're trying to make a difference. Not that it has always helped but anyhow. And I also think that there's still a lot sort of block voting against someone they really don't want to win so it might have surprising consequences.
