Regardless of how her parents handled, getting to 17 years of age and not having the slightest bit of interest in anything other than a toddler's snack is extremely odd.

Surprised she looks a healthy weight and has a boyfriend and everything.

Something tells me the story is exaggerated. Where she does actually eat other things regularly but has some kind of a 4 days a week addiction to them or something that's now affecting. No way would she have survived to this age on just nuggets.

i agree, and that would be my position, my grandparents were edwardians haha fussy eaters had not been invented so my parents instilled an 'eat and be ruddy grateful you are getting owt' attitude to food in me. And yet following the fussy eaters programme on C4 i see how events can trigger these bizarre behavioural changes in eating patterns.

Yeah, I'm sure they can but If it's nipped in the bud straight away then it doesn't turn into a habit, especially since it started as soon as she started eating
