Haha I love that you neglect to underline the bit that says the sweating "won't be enough to offset the heating-up from the tea.!" so the point is it doesn't cool you down

I didn't - the intial heat build up from the tea - actually starts the cooling process.

Think you missed the point of the article

next time someone points out that you should drink hot tea in the summer, don't rush to put the kettle on. Grab a tall glass of iced tea, an iced coffee

Neither do I - though I am grateful that you say you are the one arguing. Usually it's me that gets the blame! LOL

Flinging all the doors and windows open, drinking copious amounts of iced water and/ or diet coke with a slice of lemon, wearing a vest top and one of those long flippy maxi skirts keeps me cool ♥

Liptons iced lemon tea - freezing cold is a great thirst quencher, but I don't think I've ever seen it here in the UK?

I remember seeing it in cans but was always scared of trying it after I tasted iced coffee ( It just tasted really weird to me).. May I'll give it a whirl if I see it around

I dont bother about staying cool. I take advantage of the sun and just sit outside and bake

Luckily for me I only work nights, so the heat doesnt bother me at work. And the house is always cool too, no matter how hot it is outside so if it does get too much through the day I just pop inside for half an hour or so

Just got in now. No. I had alcohol (obviously) but didn't touch the stuff. That may have been helped by the fact that there was none to be served but I would've declined if I was offered. Speed on its own is already unhealthy, so I wouldn't have it twice in a matter of days.

Good plan. In my younger days when I tried it I was on it for 4 days nonestop and ended up in hospital with really vivid hallucinations I also convinced myself that 'seeing' my arm going black meant I was having a heart attack. And while in hospital I was seeing insects crawling all over the room I was in and a boy walking round with an axe sticking out the back of his head.

I havent touched the stuff since.

Infact I have barely touched any drugs since then.

Yeah, that's what the stuff can do to you. I'm more of a social user with ecstasy, although even then it does mess you up. I have a video tape of me being high on the stuff - made a right cock up. It feels like a surreal world and that anything I wish for can happen when I take the stuff. Weed's better, though, in the sense that you don't feel stoned for two days after taking it.
