Not really, it wouldn't really tell us anything that the 5 minute peak doesn't and it would be more susceptible to statistical anomalies as ratings are calculated using sample data.

I might not be back if we don't get that one hour later in the series, or at least a good technical explanation for why they now can't do it.

Oh, come on, Paddy. Live Feed ain't that bleeding special...unless it's when they're sleeping.

Edited my post. I meant the amount of people who watched at some point during the original broadcast, the highest 5 minute average is the peak. Though neither include repeats other than +1, they're only included in the officials.

TBH I didn't think it was dude - I thought only the forums missed it.

But today in school people kept saying to me,
'Why can't you watch it on the red button afterwards anymore?' I was just like

In a way, I was annoyed at them for only realizing 4 years on that the red button was gone - but I'm relieved that alot of people outside these forums also miss Live Feed, I put a status on Facebook earlier about it and expected to be called sad, and it got a great response from 'the casual viewer' aswell.

January already proved that it wasn't just the forums.

Glad to hear this as it only shows that it's not just the hardcore fans that appreciate the feed. It's a necessity.

Whatever the ratings is, I'm sure it was high for a Channel 5 show.

Big Brother's house party begins with 2.7m viewers

Channel 5's reality TV series returns with a 12.4% audience share

Big Brother returned to Channel 5 on Tuesday night with 2.7 million viewers, beating ITV1, BBC2 and Channel 4 in its 9pm slot.

The second series of the regular version of the reality TV format attracted a 12.4% audience share over an hour and 45 minutes from 9pm.

Big Brother has made a successful transfer from Channel 4 to Channel 5, establishing itself as the network's most popular returning series.

Last year's first non-celebrity series of Big Brother on Channel 5 launched with 2.6 million viewers and a 12.5% audience share on 9 September.

Earlier in the evening, Big Brother: the Auditions averaged 1.2 million viewers and 5.3%; while Big Brother's Bit on the Side followed up from 10.45pm with 900,000 and 7.3%.

Competition at 9pm included BBC1's Silk (4.7 million/19.9%), BBC2's The Transit of Venus: a Horizon special (2.4 million/10.2%, including BBC HD), ITV1's Martin Clunes: the Lemurs of Madagascar (1.7 million/7%) and Channel 4's Jimmy and the Giant Supermarket (1.4 million/5.9%).

Later on Tuesday evening new Channel 4 series All in the Best Possible Taste with Grayson Perry launched with 600,000 viewers and 3.6% audience share.
