That's a wonderful anecdote and all but it's a little different to say something in private to your boyfriend out of anger than it is to horrendously berate someone you just met on national TV.

Considering they showed the white room, the BMI comment, the Luke S/Ashleigh secret task over and over and over, it would fit in. I realize they're protecting their asses and probably regret ever showing it in the first place but it was probably the most controversial moment in the series.
