...it's nothing new for comedians to create a lightness to any situation..it's part of what comedy is all about..in one way or another it's been done over and over again through the decades.....

...it creates a balance to all the cr*p that constantly goes on in the world....

..some won't find it funny...but then some will..some will find it offensive and some won't.....personally, I don't think it's up to me to be offended on anyone else's behalf, any more than I would expect them to laugh at something I was amused at...everyone can decide for themselves....

..in Frankie Boyle's case, I neither find him funny or offensive...and I certainly don't find him a racist..he's just a fairly average stand up comedian....

I remember sitting two rows from him hin Oxford, I was just praying he'd not see me and leave me alone. The whole ginger thing would have provided him a lot of ammo! Thankfully he picked on the kid in front of me

But yeah anyway, he has a very blunt humour which sometime crosses the line that other comedians would be afraid to cross or infact just be sensible not to cross, but I don't think he's a racist

I meant older than the alternative comedians, boyle is worse in line with the old working mens club comics that targetted anyone in the audience who is different.
