You have to go with the frying method if you want them to be as tasty as possible. Not as healthy though! Just the way American say things like this makes it sound yummy, here we would say dip your pork chop in beaten egg, definately not as good as an egg wash.

Josy, I regularly do a ham joint in coca cola.. It's one of the easiest, tastiest things I make.

Does it wash the pan up while it's cooking?

I've just checked and seems like this had basis in science, Josy. I quite want to burn something now, so I can try it.
