Oh, I've just remembered something my mum used to do with pork chops.. Can't remember exactly, but they were done in cider and had crispy cheese and breadcrumbs on top. God they were good!!

You have to go with the frying method if you want them to be as tasty as possible. Not as healthy though!
My fav is breading them in Panko crumbs(Google it), with a light egg wash to make it all stick, and some thyme, and whatever spices you like, and then a bit of olive(or whatever oil you prefer) in the pan. Heat each side 7 minutes, turning only once. That's for chops a half inch or 3/4s. Thinner chops take less time. Also, I carve off the fat from around the edges a bit if I find the butcher has done a **** job, but definitely leave some or most on, otherwise you won't get the flavor intended. Gl, and PM if you want some of my recipes. |

Josy, I regularly do a ham joint in coca cola.. It's one of the easiest, tastiest things I make.

Stop being a lazy swine!! Get a ham joint, a large bottle of coke and a peeled onion cut in half. Put it all in a pot for a couple of hours and Robert is your fathers brother.

I'm a bit bemused by this thread, apparently only ladies know what to do with a pork chop, and single men don't own halogen cookers. Each day is a revelation on here.
