I agree with Bobnot, had the series been 13/14 weeks like the old days - then a letter on Week 11 would be fine, especially as back in the day they didn't use the silly music and montage editing over it.

But they aren't needed, especially as people like the twins, Sophie and Dexter etc seen their loved ones only two weeks ago in that task.

letters dont mean a damn at 6 weeks or whatever it is especially when most of them saw the people writing them a week ago.

The letters can be moving at about week 11 when they havent seen any loved ones for so long but with chav 5 they might as well have them in the house with them the family are either housemates,voting or sending them letters every few days.
