No it's called being realistic. If he had gone out of his way to rant about how he hates gays and they should be burned then fine. It's called tolerating discrimination because on some level you don't see a problem with it. And before you use, "I'm gay myself" as some sort of comeback, please don't because it's irrelevant in the case when you are supporting homophobia.

You've missed the point. I wasn't saying that the beliefs are only held by one race. I was saying that homophobia is the same as racism. There is no difference. You are discriminating against someone based on something they didn't chose. Religion or not, it is discrimination.

And don't give me the whole 'freedom of speech' thing. I'm not saying that Evander shouldn't be able to express his beliefs, but I don't believe that he should have expressed them on television. That isn't a freedom of speech situation, that is a situation in which he has violated his contract which clearly states that such things cannot be said on air and what he is being paid for. Very similar situation to what happened with the Duck Dynasty guy recently.
