..yeah, I do personally think he's been determined to have this showmance from the beginning and even with the recent revelations from his mum, he's determined to pursue it and actually thinks that maybe it's now better because he's in a win/win situation ...I think what he didn't figure though was how much of a sleaze he's coming across as...

It was completely embarrassing watching Steven talk to her last night, he's not emotionally developed enough to have that kind of relationship, relationship 101 is to let someone be themselves - telling her she cant speak to the ex till they are both out and they do it together is ridiculous.

Couldn't agree more with the OP and severel posts since. I was talking to Jess last night about this observation I had made about him. He's so uncomfortable to watch and I hope Kimberley is smarter and sees it before too much damage is done. I've seen firsthand what emotional blackmail/abuse does to someone and it isn't pretty.
