He did try to be civil with people like Chloe and Katie initially, and with Alexander.

If these girls was doing it to an overbearing, attention-seeking female Housemate that was a Lesbian, I'd be interested to have seen a lot of peoples answers on here.

Homophobia was invented for people like Pigrez, he's disgusting, i wasn't offended by what Alexander said, nor are a lot of other gay men.

I applaud Alexander for stopping when he did, because I'm sure he could have carried on calling Pigrez out, but he has more class than to get into a slanging match with trash.

I feel like what Alex said was homophobic. If Perez's sexuality did not bother him in some way, I don't understand why would Alex bring it up in an argument. He could've said anything else to insult Perez, but that word popped up in his head first before jerk or asshole or something. Discrimination is happening there even if it's only at the subconscious level. That doesn't excuse what Perez did of course

if perez had just called alex an unacceptable word in return we could all put the whole thing behind us and move on.

He drew attention to Perez' sexuality which had nowt to do with the situation and a low blow. Nobody sensible will think he is homophobic; I'm sure he has gay friends coming out of his ears. He should look at his time in the house as an opportunity to learn how to use words more effectively.
