Well, it's good to know that we all still have faith in this show.

How can we have faith in the show, when the last three series has been artificial boiled shyte.

It's not like they're helping the show, so why anyone would have any faith in it is beyond me.

Heck, they don't even have faith in the show themselves. What happened to BB being the main event of the summer. The fact most of the anticipation is for CBB16 speaks volumes, TBH.

I had faith for it, after CBB13. They disappointed me with BB15, and CBB14.
I re-gained my faith for CBB15, till Alicia was evicted, and the series turned into another BB15.

If they don't fix it, and BB16 is like BB15, and the second half of CBB15. Then it pretty much sets the tone for the next two years of Big Brother, IMO.

If they didn't have faith in the show then why the hell would they be forking out Ł120m a year to air it?

In my opinion, channel 5 have come a long way since the compete and utter arse gravy that was BB12 and CBB...whatever the one with Katona was. That was horrific. Glossy, trashy ****e.

They came along way from CBB8/BB12 to get to CBB13.
Then took twenty step backwards with BB15 and CBB14.

BIB -
You tell me.

They spend Ł120m a year, and can't even promote their series properly.

I haven't even seen an ident for Timebomb yet, and the series starts next week, FGS.

But every series of the show is different - I hated CBB13 once it got into the last couple of weeks. I didn't find all the stuff that was going on with Gary in the slightest bit entertaining.
I think the reason I'm fighting for C5's corner is because they are airing a show that has managed to get to 35 series. They HAVE to try new things. Yes I think a lot of that is down to the over reliance they have on CBB but I think they've very much made that their own. I don't think they need two series of it a year but they've got literally nothing else in their schedules that gets as much attention as Big Brother.
The show has to try out different things to remain interesting. Sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't.

This could be the best series ever. How about that little strand of optimism?

I've been thinking about BB15 and maybe it wasn't that bad, lots of dramatic moments.

Just because the series had drama doesn't automatically make it okay for me.

Just look at the second half of BB7, BB12, and once Alicia leaves CBB15 to see that.

Fair enough if you can handle that much focus on the next Romeo & Juliet & Bunny & Boiler & Norman.

I liked it because Aisleyne is my favourite housemate ever and I enjoyed watching her, imo very real, journey.

Tbh if BB6 aired now, I don't think it would be anywhere near as popular. It was just as nasty as BB15 if not worse.

It was amazing though

Makosi's lies, Craig's stalking, Derek's snobbery

Nastiness honestly doesn't bother me as long as it's entertaining, BB6 and BB13 are for me the two most consistently entertaining series and they were nasty. BB15 just lacked entertainment a lot and it was actually dull often.

BB15 lacked humour, the only people that made me laugh was Helen, Ash, Biannca, Christopher on occasion, and Mark on occasion.

The others had their moments, but not really good enough imo, and considering there was like 20 contestants in BB15 it's not good that only 5 Housemates made me laugh on a semi-regular basis.

I know, I'm just saying I thought there were a lot of gameplayers like Makosi, Derek, Caroline, Lydia etc I know that wasn't the theme but I think there were more ruthless gameplayers in those series than BB15 which is what made them nasty.

Yes, it had ruthless housemates. But the series was centered on being ruthless and powerful.
BB15 was designed to have ruthlessness.

BB6/13 are more remembered for being divisive and divided.

Danielle, Toya and Pauline were the ones from BB15 who often had me in hysterics.

Pauline was a good villain in terms of ruling the House with an iron fist, I wouldn't particularly call her funny though away from “it's Jale's fault” that she said directly to Jale's face.

And Toya and Danielle was overrated imo.

Oh and I agree that Ch5's BB's have improved, but I just wish that they could have CBB13's fun with the arguing and bitching.

Channel 5 BB's have improved, in terms of quality of editing and the show it's self.

But, out of the three series which aired in 2014, only one was good, and two were dreadful, IMO.

2012 was a much better year for BB, and that was when BB was tacky as tinsel.
