It doesn't help that my laptop is overheating either. Honestly, it saves me money on bills during the winter, as it gets as a hot as a radiator whilst I'm on it, and warms up my room in the process. But in the summer it's an absolute pain.

I feel like a rotisserie chicken.

And the windows wide open.

I've had the fan on pretty much 24/7 for the last 3 days. I only turn it off when I sleep.

My fan is finally giving out cold air. About effing time. This is the coolest I've felt all day, TBH.

I am in a difficult position either I close my windows and absolutely cook while trying to sleep or I open them and have the cats jump in waking me up about 3/4 times a night

Today has been lovely though: nice bit of lawn mowing followed by cricket in the afternoon and a few ciders in the beer garden in the evening. Great day.
