...which would be fine, except 'the concept of Big Brother' in its original form was not what you've described. It was a group of people put in isolation and monitored to see how they would interact without contact from the outside world...they would sink or swim according to their own actions, based mainly on the impressions they made on one another. If someone acted nice in the house but the viewers thought otherwise, it was up to the HMs to suss it.

Obviously, since then it has (d)evolved into a show full of Z-list wannabes ("Showbiz!") and caricatures of humanity, with strings being pulled in all directions by ratings-chasing producers.

Great if that's what people want but don't try and make out that that is 'the concept of Big Brother'.

Why should the "don't likes" outweight the "do likes" ?

For every VTE (for say Marc), as a voter you'd have to VTE EVERY other HM just to re-address the balance.

Undoable and hardly fair.

No it wasn't. I don't like watching what is essentially the same episode 30 times in a row. Marc had to go because there was no potential for any forward plot movement as long as he was in there.

I think if it was VTS we'd still be complaining anyway and want VTE. I know why the celeb series is VTS, to keep all the big celebrities in, but I think a VTE celeb would be interesting, but for the summer one because it doesn't really matter anyway.
With the exception of Marc I don't think this series eviction orders would of changed much with VTS, and maybe Sam out earlier.

For next series I think Vicky's idea is a good one
