This specific no one in particular has no problem with specific others who may or may not be branching out from other areas of the forum expressing any opinion. What this no one in particular objects to is others who may or may not be named, and may or may not be dolls and / or faces, entering into a debates sections and declaring "I don't want to have a debate about this".

She feels so strongly about this that she wanted to use this forum to express her feelings - without wanting to argue with anyone who opposed her view.

I think that she could have worded the last part of her post better, but I completely understand her - and I agree with her outrage at this callous bastard.

I said if you don't think he is a piece of **** (basically, if you don't condemn his actions) then in my eyes you're just as bad as he is -- you may not have actually killed a lion like he did, but if anyone in any way tries to justify his actions or anything ..then to me that person is just as bad as the person that did the act.

except it was africans that killed the lion wasn't it, the american thought it was perfectly legal and part of a conservation effort. he was told it was an old lion that was going to die soon anyway. he was lied to by the Africans. It was the Africans that did this and were profiting from it.

I think he was more talking about the fact that we wiped out wolves and bears in the UK, for the benefit of agriculture and animal husbandry... a major prerequisite in the development of things like supermarkets, funnily enough.

I get your point about it not being the Africans themselves killing dangerous animals though, but people travelling specifically to do it.

For me, personally, I do think it's all morally very murky, though what really grates on me is the decadence of spending that sort of money for this. The sort of money that would make a serious difference in a lot of people's lives - and this tit is spending it on something like this. It bothers me in the same way that I find it abhorrent that that Minaj creature "lost an £11,000 dress" - or rather, that she not only spent £11,000 on a dress in the first place, but also it meant so little that she wasn't watching it like a hawk.

...I... I just don't give a stuff about the actual lion

. Apparently that makes me a monster but I just don't. It stirs precisely zero emotion in me.
