They will let you know when they become uncomfortable with it, I can still remember the first time our son went behind the sofa to put his pyjamas on. All grown up overnight.

Shouldn't accepted behaviour with young children by applicable to all kids, not just adopted ones? Again, I don't understand what your issue would be with it unless the parent was actually a pedo and that wouldn't be good for either an adopted or biological child. When you adopt a baby, you're either their parent or your not :/

You are the parent but not the blood parent and will never be so there should be different rules and hopefully they are.

I can see an argument for that when someone adopts an already grown child but when they're adopted from birth then they are effectively the only parent that child has known so is no different to a blood relationship IMO.

Anyway, it doesn't apply to Perez because he's the biological father of these kids.

Yeah. I can't imagine putting any "rules" or barriers in place would help adoptive families to form a real familial relationship, which would be completely unfair.

..obviously it would be different/the opposite really with foster parents but not with adoptive parents as although they're not 'biological'...(I know Perez is..)...they're the child's natural parent in terms of every other aspect of their lives.../except genes...
