It's kinda random how she had to make the point that it was a "black carer" though, I agree with Natalie it's such a weird thing to bring up

But if it's about people accusing her mother of not doing well with black people then it's relevant to the story to be fair.

Hopefully they patch this up, they need to focus on going after Andrew instead.

Also I can kinda understand Natalie's frustrations, it can be really annoying when people insist on always having conversations about being black, black people etc just because they feel they need to because you're there. But idk what the context is for this situation
