I miss the old way where you could see which mod gave you the infractions and how many points it was worth, would stop all the hiding behind "I didn't give it"

Y'all get **** anyway, at least then you'd only get **** for the infractions you gave out

Well the point is we shouldn't be getting **** at all, most on here are adults and should act like it when they break a rule instead of trying to project the blame onto the mod that deals with the rule break

Should do, but don't, at the end of the day you're policing adults on the internet, if they break the rules they're obv gonna get ****ty about being punished, makes it easier on yourselves imo if you can see whose give the infractions, stops the whole "this mod hates me and always infarcts me mentality too"

Appeals were a nightmare and they were rarely used for the right reasons. People would just kick up a stink about every infraction although it was obvious they deserved it.

The only way I'd ever think about supporting it's return is if it's against the rules to appeal obviously deserved infractions. It should be for correcting mistakes and errors in infractions not for trying your luck to get out of a deserved infraction.

It used to happen, going back maybe 5/6 years or something now though

All that happened was that mods would be accused of targeting certain members as they were the only mods who were online at certain hours. I got so much **** as I tended to be on through the night when others weren't and it was nearly always the same few that kicked off on a night.

Also nearly every infraction given would result in an abusive PM sent in reply. Which tended to end in bans, which got peoples backs up even more

Clearly there is a good system in place, that cant be abused by any one mod and I don't believe it is being abused.

If you cant stay within the forum rules its not the mods fault.
