I don't see the problem tbh. I would wear mine to a restaurant.

Wear you wearing it front facing or backwards?

I only ever wear caps backwards and as far as I can remember I've never been asked to take it off in a restaurant (although I don't know if I've actually worn one in a restaurant tbf). I'd wear it in college classrooms too and teachers would never take issues with it

I wore my cap backwards in a restaurant and i forgot to take it off but they didn't say anything to me. I don't think it should be an issue.

Caps are very schoolboy though.
Why would you want a large plastic clip right across the front of your head ?

Golfers wear those silly sun visers.

Its going to be based on individual dress codes at each restaurant and if they have one.

Also if your an a lister, I don't think anyone would ask you to remove a cap.

People wear all sorts in the name of fashion and I'm sure we all got some dodgy photos in clothes that were in fashion at the time or trendy.

And note the word trendy, now its trending.

I guess the correct thing to do is take it off but I don't see why it would be as much of an issue to confront you about it. Wendy Williams always taught me to be as cooperative as I can with waiters/waitresses as they have the power of saliva .. if you know what I mean

Would you wear a baseball cap to a restaurant?

Police probably wouldn't even come out to a Hotdog cart.

what is even ruder is staff who think that taking an order that a 10 year old could and bringing a few plates of food to a table is somehow deserving of a tip

what is more disgusting is a "Tips" box in any shop

oh you dont get paid much?

get another job or two jobs and quit bleating

That's a whole different thing.
If it's hot enough to have your top off then you'll probs be sweaty which is just a no in an eating establishment.
Top off is only really done outdoors on a hot day or perhaps in your house.

A hat (especially a baseball cap) really shouldn't be an issue. They're generally worn as part of your entire rather than an only outdoor thing.

A Fedora or Panama hat or something wouldn't be so cool though because it's a lot more imposing indoors.

As long as you look decent and clean it shouldn't matter what you're wearing on your head. Some people wear hats because they're going bald or even losing their hair due to chemo or something so the ****ing waitress should consider that and mind her own. Concentrate on 'waiting' not on what you're wearing!

I went for a meal in a really nice restaraunt just last week wearing a baseball cap and it wasn't given a glance even.

It brings down the reputation, especially if it's quite a sophisticated place. They may also think you are trouble and could rob 'em.

You can't wear tracksuit bottoms after a certain time here, I walked in wearing my football kit, shorts, shinpads, astros after playing in Wales and the guy said to my friend who was wearing tracksuit pants " this is going to sound strange but he's actually allowed in but your not " so he had to go back and get changed (I couldn't be bothered anyway to much time) so yeah go to wethers in your kit about 8 or 9 and your fair game, very strange logic though
