I tend to like everyone and see the best in them initially and I don't think I'm a good judge of character. I've been wrong about people many times and totally misjudged their character. I usually in the end see them for who they are, nice or not nice characters though.

I think that everyone likes to think of themselves as a good judge of character, personally I think that I can tell if someone is worth my time or not.

I can usually sniff a liar from a mile away as to be a good liar you have to have a good memory,and most people slip up somewhere along the line,you can kind of tell how people have been brought up by their demeanor and manners (or lack of) I think it's quite easy to pick up on sleazy people , aswell as the big heads who think they know it all,my fave people are the people who don't take life too seriously ,are open minded and compassionate,but have a strong moral compass,so yes I think my judgment of people is fairly good .

I think life teaches you to at least be wary when dealing with new acquaintances. It takes time to build up a profile of what a person is like.

If I don't like you at first, I'm probably never going to like you. But I can't say I'm always 100% right about that, sometimes I'm completely wrong about someone. But not often...

I guess you either take to someone or not.
Sometimes in life some of us like a 'bad boy' to have fun with but would never dream of being real friends with etc.
You learn the hard way who to trust or not as you grow in life, so I suppose we all learn our own judgement of people.
