Big Brother contestant Lewis Flanagan has been removed from the house for "unacceptable language" but says he's "not ashamed" of what he's done.

Viewers were shown the moment the 27-year-old from Stockton-on-Tees was called into the diary room and told to leave.

He said that he was "obviously devastated" and that what he said was "unacceptable".

Viewers won't find out the circumstances until Sunday's episode.

Maybe he made a joke about the hair / the holocaust and then followed up with the pun?

I can see Channel 5 not wanting to get mixed up with any antisemitism claims, especially with recent political stuff...

Though it is all pretty ridiculous.

Considering the source, i'll stay open minded. However if he made a joke about the Holocaust on the national Television then he deserved to be ejected. How stupid can one be?!

But again, the source isn't exactly credible so who knows. Just really hoping C5 show it tomorrow.

Not quite buying this. Maybe they haven't all the facts right.
I suspect that Lewis said something that Big Brother thought might be interpreted as Anti-Semitism so evicted him.

I doubt whether it will be aired as the powers that be will be afraid of the criticism and the fall out. It would be better if they put the facts before us so that we may judge it ourselves.

My concern, I have to admit, was that he had a fallout with Zoe and Sian and had got verbal. Obviously not thank goodness, but this well....rubbish!

No they didn't...same with Rodrigo. However I think they protected them as they were 'celebrities'. They won't protect Lewis...but if they don't show it speculation will be rife.
