Ah ok, I'd go with secondary school but it's tough either way.
Here I'd go with high school. Elementary school: Ages 5-~11 Middle school: ~12-13 High school: ~14-17

What is Middle School's purpose if you don't mind me asking? Is there a reason you're only there for a single year or?

![]() I assume they added something in between so the names make more sense (first- elementary school, second- middle school, third- high school), but I think there should be more years of staying there. I prefer how the years are divided up over there in the UK actually. "Primary" and "secondary" could use some work though but it gets the job done ![]()

Tough call for me. I enjoyed the latter years of high school; I found the work easy and I liked being around friends all of the time, and it was a very good school (at the time) and the teachers were mostly laid back. And even the ones who weren't were a scream. Also Scotland so if you're staying on past 16 it's at school (unlike England where it seems more usual to go to a separate college) and those years (age 16 - 18) were a blast at school tbh.
On the other hand, it was at the exact same time (age 14 - 18) that my family was falling apart and my mum was gradually descending into alcoholism, my parents still lived together but barely spoke, slept in separate rooms and avoided each other for literally years. They separated the summer after I finished school. So high school itself and kicking about at friends houses after school was a bit of an escape for me and thus I have very positive memories of school itself, but overall they were some of the worst years of my life for other reasons. 1st and 2nd year University >> high school, also, especially 1st year in halls. On overall balance though I wouldn't say any of them are "best says of your life". How sad if the best of your life is over by your early 20's ![]() |

I miss my childhood in many ways, but not School in any shape or form.
I was horrible, most of the other kids were horrible, and the Teachers show blatant bias towards certain students, and the lessons were boring and are a lot more interesting to me once I've left School (accept for Maths) but I just had a horrible time tbh with the exception of a few good friends.

Both were utterly terrible and feature some of the worst moments of my life, so no I'm so relieved to be out of those institutionalised hell-holes in which you get misjudged for the smallest lapse in judgement if it doesn't correlate with everyone else. Trash.

I miss primary school mostly, i regret the choice i made for high school. Life was so much simple at school though, you didn't have to worry about much
