I think that's why I find his comments interesting, he obviously must feel like at one time in his life that he had a subconscious bias, and probably didn't realise the severity of what he was doing when he jokingly wore the Nazi uniform.

Personally for me though I love trying to delve into people's psychology so Harry talking about this is highly fascinating to me.
