Sauerkraut is finely cut raw cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria. It has a long shelf life and a distinctive sour flavor, both of which result from the lactic acid formed when the bacteria ferment the sugars in the cabbage leaves.

Yes, I would give it a go, I'm assuming its meaty..
Only thing I wouldnt try is African food after being at a house party and seeing half cooked chicken being stored in a bin. |

Then don’t stereotype Africans because of one dodgy chicken.

My goodness dear boy, where on earth did I do that?
I merely said I wont try african food again after that bad experience....all I would be able to think about is that bin of half cooked chicken.. A bit like a bad school experience involving liver or something.... So please dont stereotype me, cause I don't do it to anyone. |

we have had a large polish population since the 2nd world war so their food influence has been fully integrated into british cuisine.

I’ve had a polish stew before and that was really nice. Can’t remember what it was called though.

Come to think of it it is a bit strange that we have so many Polish shops in every town but never any Polish restaurants or takeaways
I like going to Polish shops sometimes for their smoked meat snacks but I'm not aware of many great Polish recipes |

I’m not sure about elsewhere but Cardiff and Bristol do. I imagine London and Manchester will too.

To be fair, I can’t imagine most people seek out Polish restaurants. That’s the whole point of this thread. It might sound funny or mildly xenophobic to some but it’s just the truth. Most people don’t go out for Polish on a Friday night. Let’s be real.

It's not that I "wouldn't dare" - I wouldn't, but it's nothing to do with being daring
