I have a home in Spain so I need to speak some Spanish as many people particular in service industries do not speak English

I think a second language should be compulsory on schools, and that kids should be fluent when they leave

Language is beautiful. Of course people should strive keep the languages of their cultures alive. I don't speak Hebrew by accident. People really need to speak English here in the UK, but not to the exclusion of other languages.

Is Gaelic not the same as Scots? I know I asked this before but I find it a bit confusing. Like when I say I speak Irish, I mean Gaelic (Irish Gaelic probably don't know if Scottish Gaelic is different or not)

My English Uni pal (from Surrey) used to call our Scottish cleaner Ken Offay (in fact we all did)

as that was the only 2 words he could understand as she cleaned around him each day

Ken and in "you know" and Offay as in "awful"

I also speak Portuguese

I used to know conversational German but I lost competency because I haven't used it in a very long time.

German (because of me watching a lot of german tv shows lately, and i went online for some english to german, dutch to german words, sentences to understand it better)

English (duh, i had a 10 at school for that subject once )

Greek (i had a teacher from Greece who gave me greek language lessons in lunch breaks, because greek language isn't a subject at school, and it was handy since at that time that was before i went to Greece for first time )
