God that is dumb, you're definitely right in saying that.

The most ironic one recently being Forest Green fans when there was a mixed race player on the pitch playing for them, and they're chanting racist stuff at the opposition's players.

Another thing badly . badly wrong with football is the pure hatred and anger in the faces of the fans plus the abuse they shout and gesture ( young and old) when an opposition player takes a corner or a throw-in ...

They could / should stamp this out now by banning the offenders who are all on camera ..
