You have a good knowledge of the game, love it! And yeah you're right, the hostile gangs can be a thing too.
That’s impressive oh the stunt jumps, I used to like the one that jumps the Callahan Bridge (it was on the Staunton Island side).

Link me some of your speed runs and I’ll give them a watch

GTA3 was a great game, compared to San Andreas it’s probably considered quite short but I still find it fun, enjoyable and easy to just start up and play again.

I'm just happy to get a gold PS4 trophy, think I've only ever got 1 platinum one don't think it was a tough one to get either.

I don't have the slightest clue what any of the 'achievements' even are - I've seen the trophies & stuff before but never looked into any of it at all, I just play the games

I've platinum'd a few PS4 games/PC games on Steam. It wasn't something I used to be into, my first was Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4 then I finished up Arkham Knight on PC (because it was sat at something like 97%). I've done quite a few games since then.

The only game I can speed run is Resi 4 (original GameCube version) and I can also challenge speed run it (handgun only, no upgrades allowed, knife only, etc). That's due to me and one of my Uni housemates moving into our house 3 months earlier than everyone else (from the start of summer, everyone else moved in when classes started in late September) and all we had was a GameCube with one controller and a telly. We didn't even have furniture, other than beds. So we sat cross legged in the empty living room with the TV on the floor playing Resi 4 for 3 months straight.

Good times honestly.

Same, Exoddus took a while for me though cause I struggled finding all the secret areas and didn’t realise there was a really obvious clue as to where they all were . I liked that all the Mudokons had emotions (if that makes sense) and you had to do certain things (apologising to the angry ones) or taking extra care (leading the blind ones) when rescuing them. It was just a cool little feature that made that game a little better to go back to compared to Oddysee but that was still a great game nonetheless.

Could be at least 1 min better, but still a world record.

Omg ‘Gripped!’ I hated that mission. The beginning was the most difficult part (and that part in the video when trying to get 3rd checkpoint was so intense ) but afterwards it became a lot easier.

Also forgot how crap the Landstalker was to drive in that game it was so easy to flip. . This was great to watch tho

Speedrunning is super addictive, takes a lot of skill and practice, but i love it.

So yeah, are you a Trophy hunter? Do you speedrun? Ever beat a near impossible game to beat?

Post your achievements here.

My only ‘gaming achievement’ was being headhunted as a sniper
Many years ago whilst playing online COD2 ... .. sniping night after night after night I was invited to join a rather highly rated online American COD2 clan as they needed a decent sniper ..

It all went rather well for quite some time despite me having to spend a couple hours each night between 1am and 4am and holding down a full time job

Wow that's seriously impressive, i know how competitive the COD teams are. Good on you!

Yeah that's the only problem with being in anything to do with competitive gaming, the time zones

It did get too much in the end ..

I went downstairs after couple of hours of competitive sniping to try and chill out - as I couldn’t get to sleep ..

I tried watching a bit of telly but my gaze drifted to the woodland scene print hanging on our lounge wall to the side of the television and I was still ‘seeing’ little soldiers running around the countryside in and out of the woodland !!

That’s proper worrying !

COD eyes were definitely a thing! Me and my housemates played (... A LOT) on a small but very active private COD4 server while I was at Uni. Sometimes 5, 6 hour sessions... And I swear... Sometimes we'd play until about 10pm then head out to the union and it felt like there were still little "names" floating above people's heads .

I also got a bad case of Starcraft-brain once. Played Starcraft 2 for like 12 hours solid and then every time I closed my eyes I could still see little Starcraft units moving around.

Back in the day when I played a lot of Colin McCrae Rally .... I’d go to bed close my eyes and I could still see the roads/tracks coming at me for about 5 minutes !!

The brain is a crazy thing isn’t it !?!
