The full sugar one is AMBROSIA however I find it causes a bit of a sugar spike and thus energy crash after a couple of hours. The sugar free one is actually very, very similar to the full sugar one in this case so would personally go for that .

I never drink energy drinks. I can’t even remember the last time I had a lucozade but even then it would only be the cherry one and I don’t think that even counts as an energy drink anyways.

the old lucozade was a miracle cure for anything. No idea why they changed it. I used to like the orange wrap the bottle came with to change it's colour

Agree that the Irn Bru one is nice, also quite like Relentless of the main brands. Monsters popularity baffles me, far too sweet

I only drink them very occasionally though, normally if I'm working late or I'm very hungover/not had much sleep

Hmmm. I’m struggling to say what they taste like - it’s nothing like most energy drinks (not like Red Bull for example). It’s just it’s own flavour, but not the same flavour as Irn Bru. The sugary one is marginally tastier than the sugar free one but like I said I think it has a LOT of sugar because there’s a bit of an energy crash after an hour or two.

My nan used to force feed us this if we were ill and having a sick day at her house. I swear it made me worse. I think I would throw up if I smelt it now

Was still common parent-medicine in the 90’s when it was still packed with glucose. It’s rubbish now because they had to cut glucose content to comply with some food standard or other, much like Irn Bru.
