I think BB has been really irresponsible here by not clarifying with Hanah that the gloat remark in the task is separate to the “stop the gloats” comment because one was aimed at her group - a group largely made up of POC and the other was aimed at Vampires, which consisted of mainly white people.

It’s still poorly worded but I think the misunderstanding on who the comment was aimed at should be clarified because it removes the idea it was said towards a group of POC which puts a whole different stance on it.

I wasn't able to watch the show tonight, so maybe I'm a little premature in saying this, but just on the face of it, it seems rather reaching to call it racial at all. Especially if the context is that the other participants, who are majority white, were gloating.

To my mind, you'd have to be thinking about the migrant crisis 24/7 to make the connection between her comment and the stop the boats slogan.

…yeah I think she did link it to Hanah and said that she’d made the pun based on stop the boats in calling Hanah gloaty…I mean the fact that she kind of pressed that explanation of it would surely indicate in itself the lack of intent…
