…is it a declaration of independence/a new global organisation…?…the organisation/charity say that they formed in 2019/…6 years ago and became a registered charity in 2021…they’re a support group/organisation for LGB only is all …and an already established one, is my understanding…there are probably other similar organisations that are more directly and specifically focused, which is the way with many charities and organisations in many areas…

sexual abuse of a young girl.

Kizzy Lavender Lee-Wimbridge is a former Operations Lead for Newbury
Pride, and spoke at Trans Day of Remembrance in Reading.



A trans-identified male residing in England has appeared in court accused of
sexually abusing a child. Kizzy Lavender Lee, birth name Samuel Wimbridge,
who is the former Operations Lead and Volunteers Coordinator for Newbury
Pride, has been charged with attempting to coerce a young girl into sexual
abuse and making indecent photographs of a child.

The answer is in the post you've quoted. If the aims were just to protect women from something that had already been happening for years without the need for protection, then that side won. However, if folks just keep piling on to trans people after "winning", then I think those that pointed out it was never really about protecting women from the start, might have had their point proven in 4k.

Nobody is piling on plenty transwomen have said they will ignore the ruling, as have some MPs, nobody has won anything, women are just trying to hang on to their rights

So what does victory look like if you don't believe you've already got what you wanted?

You've had it reinforced by government, so is the aim now to make sure that no trans women ever goes to the toilet? What about the butch looking women that are in increased danger from being attacked by the pretty girls and worried moms in women's spaces? Why does "protect women" not incorporate the women with shaved heads? Ironically, the only women who have faced increased danger is them, and it's not from trans people.

Not even a consideration.

Maybe "protect most women" is more accurate.

But the thing is, that statement in itself can be seen to be exclusionary to some... it really is like the Bible ... once we start to add a sense of doctrine in becoming a member of the group, there's going to be a battle over ideas... We have the Catholic church that has its doctrine... and then there are other people who come up with their own conclusions and interpretations to scripture that eventually split off from that, because even small differences in scripture (even specific verses) can make a huge difference in how the Bible is interpreted and obeyed... many settlers came to the US because of ideological differences, which allowed them the space and freedom to grow out without persecution... which is why religious freedoms were placed as a fundamental right in our Constitution.

The LGBT may not have a proper Bible, but it operates very closely to that of a religious movement, imo. If one member decides not to adhere to the principles applauded by the core group, they're considered out... so yes, while it's said to be "for inclusivity", the group has found a quite exclusive way to determine who is a member or not because there's a set framework for how members are meant to see themselves and others... It's just no one has put it to pen and paper yet.

Why would it need to be in my head? Anyone who has observed this attack on the human rights of a minority group from afar, will know all about the increased risk to butch looking women because of trans panic, but it's telling that it may have never occurred to folks attacking trans people.

Trans people are less of a threat to "real" women, than "real" women are to other "real" women.
