It actually felt like earlier this year, that the troubles were about to start again but nothing more happened.

Just to add each decade there is usually a big terrorist event or war so its more a question of when, not if.

Personally - I believe the IRA just love the drama and being feared. In my opinion, just a bunch of bully boys!

True and technology has advanced so much that I think the casualties will be much greater.

Inevitably there's gonna be a war. I can't see it being something as big as WW3 though, the world's learned from the previous WW's I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to start something like that considering the lengths we went to win last time. Nobody is stupid enough to purposely trigger a potential nuclear war.

That being said i can easily see another war happening although I don't think it'll be as big as some people are predicting.

I agree with you there Dezzy. I don't think anyone would be silly enough to start WW3... but I do think there will be another war, which will be triggered by a terrorist attack.

Certain Middle-Eastern countries are - religious fanatics - which is why so many fear them acquiring nuclear weapons. But it will happen sooner or later - God help us all then!

Any big worldwide events are possible targets but I think the next terrorist attack could be low key like 9/11.

They would not get in, there has been theories that teams have going to get blown up for years. After Munich, they will be very very tight on everything

Yeah true, but I still think if Al-Qaeda wanted it to happen they would make it happen. Or it could just be a failed attempt like the Xmas day plane bomb.

I'm pretty sure there will be at least 1 huge terrorist attack, maybe on the same scale as 9/11, maybe even bigger. It's inevitable nowadays really...
