"Thanks for everything" could mean anything. It could even be sarcastic. It doesn't mean he is contemplating suicide. I was reading yesterday he was acting like he didn't give a toss about things. Who knows what stories to believe but I think they are reading a bit too much into this one.

Maybe its hit him what is actually going on ... and he just felt the need to text them all thanks for everything to his mates, who have presumably been there the past few weeks. Thats all I think has happened here. Nothing more, nothing less
